On-snow review

We have known these skis extremely well for years. For the coming season they received new binding plates, which have slightly improved their sporting performance. The word our testers used most often was ‘easy’. Comments included: “Enjoyable! Fairly dynamic skis with a more playful than race-oriented character. Stable and smooth. Tightening the turn is easy. The edges grip well, although nothing about the skis stands out especially.” Another tester wrote: “Very confidence-inspiring even under my 110 kilograms. They tighten the turn nicely, are easy to steer and deliver a great deal of pleasure. Quick from edge to edge.” We also heard: “Very good skis, stable and secure through the arc. They return the energy you put into them well. Fairly dynamic and agile.” There were other voices too: “Secure and predictable, but lacking rebound out of the turn. Too passive for slalom skis and not especially useful in the gates.” Another wrote: “Very light, easy and effortless skis. Ideal for simply making turns and cruising without applying much pressure. Probably not for the gates because they lack enough energy, but enjoyable in free skiing for people who do not like to work too hard.” Finally, Ostra: “Pleasant skis that do not distinguish themselves in any particular way. I could have good fun on them in free skiing. In a slalom course they were merely OK. Pleasant in medium-radius turns too.”

Tester’s take
“Smooth and highly confidence-inspiring to steer. Especially suitable for people who enjoy short turns and playing in a slalom course. Recommended for shorter pistes.”
