Blossom is a recent arrival at our tests, but the company has made a genuinely strong impression. This model uses slalom-ski geometry combined with lighter materials, and our female testers liked it. Comments included: “Very enjoyable, sporty and dynamic skis. They move rapidly from edge to edge, yet cope equally well with rough, moguled pistes when making skidded turns. I would recommend them to experienced women who ski from first lift to last – for hard morning snow and for sliding through the afternoon slush.” Another tester wrote: “The white-and-pink graphics prejudiced me against them. Then they turned out to be skis with real character. You can carve them and feel a satisfying kick into every new turn. They grip hard snow quite well and cooperate beautifully when you change style, for example when switching to short turns on a steep section. Ideal for the whole day, for both less and more advanced skiers.” We also heard: “Enjoyable slalom skis. Very quick from edge to edge, with good support through the arc. They work well on hard snow and cut efficiently through piles of pushed-up snow when conditions soften. Good-looking and capable, although they need some strength before they turn really quickly.”
