Dynamic made the bold decision to enter a slalom ski in this category. It is what we call the second slalom model in the range – a slightly more supple version of the flagship ski. Slalom skis are not known for great versatility, of course, yet this model received a very warm welcome. Comments included: “I had not skied slalom skis for a very long time, but these revived my desire for the kind of skiing they offer. Perhaps not for an entire day, but it is beautiful. Every turn is under control. You finish the arc quickly and securely, then accelerate immediately into the next.” Another tester wrote: “Exceptionally easy and intuitive slalom skis from the tier just below the flagship, encouraging dynamic short turns. Living on edge is their natural state. Ideal for skiers who want to carve short arcs for most of the day but do not have the strength – or desire – for top-level slalom skis.” We also heard: “Pure adrenaline! Adrenaline on demand. Whatever energy you put in, Dynamic – or perhaps dynamite – returns. Pressure them and they launch the skier into the next turn. They are ruthlessly precise too, running as if on rails without the slightest hesitation. There is a price, however: energy. These are not skis for weaklings. Pre-season quadriceps training is compulsory. Slalom skis in a somewhat more versatile form.” This was followed by: “Very supple, although certainly not soft. They contain plenty of rebound, which means you must keep watching them so they do not turn into a catapult. Great play skis, but not for the whole day. They require a lot of energy and initiate turns easily.”
