On-snow review

Among the shortest skis in the group and endowed with the smallest radius, these have an unmistakably slalom-oriented character but a more forgiving construction. They turn very easily and provoked mixed reactions among our testers. Comments included: “Very short skis with the smallest nominal radius here. Structurally complete, but more supple than stiff. Too flexible for me, although they could be very suitable for lighter pilots who enjoy short turns. I do not find much rebound when moving from arc to arc. They are fine in skidded turns. Their natural home would be the All-Round category.” Another tester wrote: “Very light to steer and quick to initiate short-radius arcs. Suitable for anyone who likes skis with slalom character.” We also heard: “Versatile skis that are easy to handle. Turny and good in skidded turns too. Recreational skis that inspire confidence.” This was followed by: “They are slightly disguised slalom skis, only more civilised. Extremely turny and great fun in short and medium turns. At higher speeds they become a little nervous and, compared with the best slalom skis, they are slightly less dynamic.” There were other voices too: “Strange skis… Short and therefore agile, but without much energy. They lack stiffness. They should be fine for less advanced skiers on groomed pistes. In longer arcs, at the apex, you have the feeling that they may release and skid away.”

Tester’s take
“Good-looking skis. Their slalom DNA stands out, wrapped in an attractive package. You do not have to wrestle with them, although they prefer active steering. They initiate with ease and carve clean arcs. Lightning-fast from turn to turn, dynamic and secure on edge.”
