On-snow review
Made in Wisła, Poland – and genuinely something to show off to the skiing world. The Forszty made an impression, finishing just off the podium. Most testers appreciated far more than their graphics. Comments included: “Harmony like a symphony orchestra. They do not demand much strength, yet deliver enormous enjoyment. Their behaviour in carved arcs and short turns is poetry. They are not hugely dynamic, but for many skiers they will be pure pleasure. Very turny.” Another tester wrote: “A revelation! Highly dynamic skis for all-day fun on piste. They enter the arc easily, store energy and return it gracefully at the exit. Short turns, extension unweighting, carving… Beautiful fun!” We also heard: “The greatest positive surprise in this group, perhaps even in the entire test. They do whatever you ask. Stable and smooth, they guide you towards the pleasure of skiing. The pair you choose when you are allowed only one.” This was followed by: “Very interesting skis. Stable in free skiing on edge, dynamic and turny. Better in normal rather than extremely hard conditions. Recommended to anyone who wants easy, enjoyable piste skiing.” Another tester added: “They stand out through their graphics, construction and build quality. Exceptionally comfortable skis that willingly carve smooth arcs and move quickly from one turn to the next. And there you are, flowing along on Polish-built skis. Good work!” Finally: “They do not merely look excellent – they ski that way too. Fantastic grip. They tighten the arc very pleasantly and return energy into the next one. Searching for a weakness, they could be better in short turns.”
“My number one in the group. Not for the lazy. They demand active steering, but repay it with a wealth of wonderful sensations. They snap into the turn, grip like fury, return their power decisively and wind themselves phenomenally into the next arc. They love speed and challenges. A highly successful ski. It is great that they are made in Wisła.”
