On-snow review

Another wider ski in the comparison – 84 mm underfoot – so its character should be close to the all-mountain category. Unfortunately, the test pair was also among the shortest in the group, which undoubtedly affected both its usefulness and its score. Comments included: “What I appreciated most was how easy they are to steer and how lightly they pass over uneven snow. At the same time, they can accelerate very pleasantly whenever the opportunity appears. They are slightly weaker on hard snow, where they lack damping.” Another tester wrote: “Exceptionally light, but do not let that mislead you. They steer well and are reasonably stable. They are pleasant for relaxed skidding at lower speed, yet also perform well on edge.” We also heard: “Very pleasant and fairly easy, but not particularly stable at greater speed, when the tips begin to shake. For women who do not want to use much strength and are not exceptionally demanding. Best on easier pistes and at lower speeds. Pleasant, with a little rebound too.” This was followed by: “In my opinion, not a ski for someone with sporting ambitions, although they are enjoyable in longer arcs. Soft snow requires little strength, but on hard snow they need pressure or they become unstable.”

Tester’s take
“Very enjoyable, with good edge grip. You can move decisively forwards. They are like race skis for a pensioner who wants to ski brilliantly, only without great speed or effort. You do not feel irregularities through them, and they do not sink in soft snow.”
