On-snow review
The latest creation from this Polish company. Although intended mainly for piste use, these are still the widest skis in the group, so outright sporting performance would be too much to expect. Many testers liked them; others had reservations. Comments included: “Bravo, compatriots! Looking at them, you assume they will only make skidded turns. Then you discover that they charge on edge almost like race skis.” Another tester wrote: “The people at Majesty have learned how to build piste skis. The waist makes turn initiation less than effortless, but once on edge they grip surprisingly well. Pressure them firmly and they rebound into the next turn. You can commit the hip deeply, although you do need to stay alert. They are at their best in medium-radius arcs at moderate speed.” We also heard: “Their versatility both on piste and beyond it won me over. Only deeper snow reveals that they could be wider. All-day skis that leave no trace of fatigue and require very little adaptation. Not suited to truly enormous speeds.” This was followed by: “They cope superbly in loose snow and are enormous fun in short turns. They perform equally well on groomed pistes. Short, pressured turns that allow the ski to pull itself through are immensely satisfying. In long carved arcs – poetry. There is no shortage of rebound or stiffness, although a heavier pilot might disagree.” The grumblers added: “Skis without emotion or bite, although stable in calm medium and long turns. Better than I expected. Correctly average.” And: “Enjoyable off piste. Everything else happens with some reluctance and lethargy. Not especially comfortable and without much character, although they absorbed irregularities nicely.”
“Superb! Off piste they are stable and well balanced. The greatest surprise, however, comes on piste. Excellent in both long and medium turns and exceptionally stable throughout the entire arc. They look very good too.”
