On-snow review
A classic of the genre. These skis have ranked among the leading consumer GS models for years. Their construction uses Nordica’s distinctive Dual Core technology, producing an exceptionally smooth ride. For some testers, they were the best skis in the group. Comments included: “The best skis in the test. Dynamic. They enter arcs of different radii with ease. They ski very smoothly and gave me a huge amount of pleasure. In skidded turns, you need to be careful not to switch onto a carved line too quickly, but they are still my number one.” Another tester wrote: “One of the best skis in the group: beautifully smooth turn tracking and an optimal natural radius for this category. They work equally well in free skiing and in the gates.” We also heard: “Outstanding skis. Built for high speeds and precise long arcs. Designed for decisive skiers and demanding active legwork. For advanced skiers.” This was followed by: “Incredible, top-class GS skis with beautiful graphics for real men.” There were dissenting voices too: “I expected more from these skis – more energy and more willingness to turn. They are not especially quick from edge to edge. They become slightly chaotic when changing turn radius. Better for skiers who want to cruise through longer arcs at a measured pace.”
“Very enjoyable skis – my surprise of the group. Supple and turny, with good support. Excellent skis for almost anyone, delivering plenty of pleasure. Probably the best of the more flexible GS models.”
