We have known successive versions of these skis extremely well for years. One might even call them a Nordica classic. As before, opinion was divided: some testers adore them, while others point to shortcomings. Comments included: “Very balanced, traditional full-camber skis – almost a slimmed-down All-Mountain Performance model. They do the same job with far less effort. Stable in longer turns, they tighten the radius linearly into shorter, stable arcs driven from the knees. They perform superbly, although without an excess of rebound.” Another tester wrote: “Very good skis. Easy to steer and holding well on edge in both longer and shorter turns. Smooth and highly enjoyable.” We also heard: “Extremely friendly and easy to handle. They work intuitively and without effort, rolling willingly onto edge and holding it solidly. Rhythm changes are effortless too. You can rock from turn to turn while admiring the views and the beauty of the mountains. Safe, secure and comfortable skis, although I missed some energy.” The grumblers observed: “Piste skis for people without race ambitions. I missed rebound. They are happiest in calm, medium-radius carved turns. More for relaxed skiers.” And: “Easy both on edge and in skidded turns, with reasonably good grip. They offer little energy and initiate with a certain reluctance. Comfortable, so suitable for people who tour large resorts.”
