On-snow review

The most successful skier in the world today, Marco Odermatt, races on this brand, so the consumer version of his winning machines could hardly be poor. These skis earned considerable praise from our testers, although there were more critical voices too. Comments included: “Explosive skis, but not for everyone. They require some strength through the turns, but once you pressure them – it is something beautiful, a moment you want to last. Supremely stable, with truly masterful edges. They cut the snow like a laser and take no prisoners – the grip is absolute.” Another tester wrote: “Very good skis. Stable and offering a generous safety margin. They like speed and turn quite well.” We also heard: “Very good skis that would make an excellent first pair of GS skis because they are fairly easy to handle. Turny, but with drive and stability too.” This was followed by: “Very respectable GS skis. An excellent representative of the category. They do not demand excessive strength. Very enjoyable for recreational skiers who prefer long turns. They could be a little more dynamic.” Another comment read: “Skis for fast piste skiing. Excellent in longer turns. They do not wander.” From the other side, however, we heard: “Calm, stable and slightly cumbersome. Nothing about them stands out in particular.” And: “Perfectly competent skis, but they did not surprise me in any way. Turn initiation requires strength and technique. Tightening the radius takes strength and time. Skidded turns are difficult on them.”

Tester’s take
“Very stable, approachable and lively skis that deliver plenty of satisfaction. They love high speeds. Sensational!”
