On-snow review

Slalom geometry combined with the greatest length in the entire group – 166 cm. Most of our female testers found them demanding, but also saw considerable potential, especially on well-groomed pistes. Comments included: “Very dynamic skis – an absolute rocket. They love well-prepared pistes and then charge like mad. They prefer slightly more open arcs. On groomed snow they simply flow, although they are less convincing in poorer conditions and heavy snow.” Another tester wrote: “Good skis for a groomed piste. Stable and fairly turny, although not especially agile, which surprises me given their relatively short radius.” We also heard: “For women who ski well. Pleasant tracking, particularly in medium-radius arcs, and slightly weaker in long ones. These skis impose their own radius. Fairly stiff.” This was followed by: “Difficult. They need speed before they turn properly. Pressure them firmly and then they come round. Very dynamic, but you have to squeeze that quality out of them. They initiate quickly and force the next turn.” One tester also observed: “In my view, something is wrong with the preparation. The base may be concave. They grip extremely hard, but the transition from edge to edge is difficult and takes time.”

Tester’s take
“Excellent edge grip and quite a stiff construction. At higher speeds they perform superbly, providing control and stability. Definitely for technically advanced women who can already ski confidently on edge on red pistes. They require pressure, strength and technique. Dynamic when steered and loaded properly – then they return energy beautifully.”
