On-snow review

Completely new skis from Fischer, featuring Noize technology. Despite being short for this category at 178 cm, they made an excellent impression on our testers and finished second on points. Comments included: “These are my kind of skis: agile and dynamic. Perfect for race-style skiing. They were superb between the GS gates. You can trust them completely, let them run and know they will not let you down. Something special – a gem!” Another tester wrote: “Enjoyable GS skis for recreational racers. They have a sporting character and track very pleasantly through the turns. I will ignore the colour, because that is a matter of taste…” We also heard: “Superb little skis. Extremely quick from edge to edge. They initiate carved turns beautifully without becoming nervous. Very secure through the arc, with fantastic support. Excellent edge grip. At this length, they can even compete with Cross-Turn skis because they are so manoeuvrable. At the same time, they have enjoyable drive.” This was followed by: “Good, dynamic skis for fast, larger-radius turns. They can also be persuaded into medium and even shorter arcs. Extremely quick from turn to turn and very good at changing rhythm. Pressure them and they respond dynamically.”

Tester’s take
“These skis surprised me enormously in a positive way. I had a huge amount of fun testing them because they were stable at every speed. They grip exceptionally well, track very smoothly through the arc and initiate with ease. They are among my top five skis of this year’s test.”
