On-snow review

Yet another women’s ski built around slalom geometry. Our testers liked this model, and some even considered it the best in the group. On points, it finished a whisker off the podium. Comments included: “Superb skis, as turny as slalom models, but still capable of longer arcs. Great fun for the whole day. They have real bite. Interesting!” Another tester wrote: “Wonderful. Thoroughly sporting. Even in slush they run on edge without the slightest skid. On hard snow they grip magnificently – as if on rails. Quick, agile, wonderful!” We also heard: “Highly capable skis. They do not force the transition from one turn into the next, so longer arcs are possible too. They are like slalom skis, but without such exhausting rebound. They provide good support and do not require enormous strength.” This was followed by: “A positive surprise. Good for women who want to progress and learn to ski effectively on edge. Soft, pleasant and calm. They also feel excellent in longer turns. Ideal for groomed Alpine pistes.” Another tester added: “Agile, yet very stable and dynamic. Short turns are pure pleasure. At the same time, they can be skied all day.”

Tester’s take
“Ideal skis. I feel completely secure on them. They are easy to steer and grip confidently. Good in varied conditions and better suited to advanced women. They initiate well and track the arc superbly. Fairly heavy, but dynamic.”
