As with the Rossignol, the points score is modest while the written comments are highly positive, because this is simply a very enjoyable model. Comments included: “Most skis in this category are race machines in a more approachable form. These are more like a family car in sports trim: good for all-day skiing, good for almost everything, yet still capable of a proper kick. Brilliant! Fairly supple and dynamic. Turn-radius changes happen almost telepathically. They are a little wider underfoot and carry a modest rocker, so you can play all day in almost any conditions. Friendly – there is no need to wrestle with them.” Another tester wrote: “Although they do not fit the category because they lack enough sporting intent, I would like to own them. They can ski every turn shape and every radius. Spring corn and piles of pushed-up snow do not trouble them, and they grip superbly on hard snow. Skis for an instructor or for an entire holiday in a large resort. They will work everywhere.” We also heard: “Extremely versatile in terms of turn radius. Apply firm pressure and they transform into slalom skis, which I did not expect. They kick strongly from arc to arc. Stable at higher speeds – no tip chatter, no shaking. You do have to work them, however.” There were grumblers too: “They do not entirely suit me. They could be more stable at very high speeds. Yes, they grip well, are fairly dynamic and tighten the turn easily, but they lack sporting spirit and character. Skis for advanced recreational skiers rather than racers.”
